Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. You’ll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in some of the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

In this role, you will support the distributed Engineering processes and application interfaces across all Crane Solutions. This position will also be responsible for providing best practices guidance for Interfacing CAD, eCAD, Requirements, Change and Software Source Control Management tools usage and their interfaces to TeamOne Unifed PLM system. The incumbent brings the necessary skills and in-depth understanding of product knowledge, process and system architecture for the recommendation, design, and implementation of tools across all Crane Solution sites.


  • Interface applications to multi-tier systems, with a significant focus on Teamcenter Unified 4-tier and 2-Tier architecture and its interfaces.

  • Selection, and integration of Teamcenter Unified interfacing applications such as CAD/eCAD, CAM, Requirements, Change/Source Control Management tools across Crane A&E

  • Providing architectural guidance for installation and configuration of Teamcenter Unified interfacing Applications

  • Activities performed by industry and company standards, including all necessary design and verification documentation as required by Solutions teams and process standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of technical process and document management systems applicable to a high technology aerospace electronics design and manufacturing organization.

  • Experience & knowledge in Process Architecture and Development for multi-tier enterprise systems managing highly engineered product information.

  • Experience and knowledge in best practices and \ Aerospace standards for Interfacing CAD/eCAD, CAM applications and processes. Experience with SolidWorks, UG, Inventor, or Creo is considered a PLUS

  • Five years experience in Aerospace product and technical environment

  • Proven leadership ability, including demonstrated ability to form and lead cross-functional teams for process implementation across distributed locations and Solutions.

  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix Operating System platforms.

  • Provide individual contribution to developing Process Architecture, Design, Implementation and delivery for highly tailored and customized enterprise Software such as Siemens Teamcenter.

  • A Mechanical, Electrical and Systems Engineering background with focus on Computer Aided Tools

  • Support Crane Aerospace customers in all Solutions including regular visits to Crane remote locations; Washington, California, Ohio, Lyon (France), Bangalore (India) and other Crane locations. The position will involve up to 20% travel.
